The Baltic Festival is fast approaching, this year it will be hosted by the Finnish Society of Melbourne.
The festival entails song and dance by the Baltic nations of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and, their neighbour, Finland.
This year’s theme is Elonkorjuu, or “Harvest” for our non-Finnish speaking friends – that special time of the year when we gather everything that nature has to offer for us to survive over the cold winter; Wheat, mushrooms, berries, hunting, hay… and of course, the festivities to celebrate the successful harvest!
We hope that you can join us for this wonderful annual event, to celebrate our cultures and the friendships we have made over the years!
