This Sunday, on the 8th of December, we celebrate our Independence by remembering those that bravely fought and through ‘sisu’ managed to maintain it through the many years.
The ceremony starts at 12 noon with a church service followed by celebrations.

Coffee and refreshments will be available afterwards. This event isn’t catered so we ask that if you are coming please bring a plate of food to share.
