Suomen itsenäisyyspäivän lähestyessä satavuotisen itsenäisyyden juhlavuosi huipentuu ympäri maailmaa järjestettäviin erikoistilaisuuksiin. Seuramme muksukerho ja Suomi100-komitea järkkäävät Melbournen Suomi-koulun kanssa yhteiset Suomi 100 -synttärit lapsille 26.11. (kts. tapahtumat). Juhlavuoden huipennuksena on itsenäisyyspäivän gaalaillallinen Melbournen kaupungintalolla 2.12. As we get closer to Finland’s Independence Day 6th December, the anniversary year culminates in special events around the world. There will be two events in Melbourne: first one is Finland 100 birthday party for kids on 26th November organised by the FSM Kids’ Club and Finland 100 Committee together with the Finnish School of Melbourne (see events). The second one is of course the Independence Day Gala Dinner at Melbourne Town Hall on 2nd December.
